Creases
The three creases are in fact one of the edges of the markings you see on the pitch. So what counts
is the
-
edge nearest the wicket of the popping crease marking.
Relevant to no ball when front foot whether grounded
or raised is past this crease and, run out and stumpings where the body or bat must be grounded
on the wicket side of this crease.
-
edge nearest the wicket of the return crease marking
Relevant to no ball when back foot lands on or
over this line.
-
the centre of the wickets are located on the rear edge of the bowling crease marking.
