The Boundary
The boundary is the inside edge of the boundary marker (rope, paint, markers etc.). As soon as the ball
or a fielder in contact with the ball, touches the boundary or the vertical plane rising from the boundary,
the ball is deemed to have crossed the boundary.
To get a six, the ball has to land beyond the boundary edge. This can be above the boundary edge
(which is at ground level) on the marker or fence marking the boundary. A ball landing on the
boundary rope
is a six. The sightscreen is always defined as beyond the boundary.
